10 Basic Steps For Your Ceremony

So, maybe you are really nervous about how your wedding day will play out.  We all go over the same questions:  Will I remember what to do?  What if I forget?  Well, no need to worry.  We will help you every STEP of the way!  We partner with Nina Lakatos, Officiant Extraordinare, who has been with us since the inception of Siesta Key Events and also Reverend Dan Miller, a licensed and ordained non-denominational pastor, who has over 30 years experience and performs ceremonies and vow renewals in the Suncoast area.

Before you begin to discuss your ceremony plans, keep in mind these TEN BASIC STEPS FOR YOUR CEREMONY.  Knowing what lies ahead beforehand will help ease your fears.

1. First things first, you will walk in the "procession" down the aisle

2.  No need to worry what to say when you finish your walk, the officiant will start with the opening remarks

3.  This part is easy - Exchange of vows

4.  If you have any readings {poems, passages}it is normally done here

5.  The Officiant will say some additional remarks

6.  This part is where you get your ring and normally do a unity ceremony {Hint:  Using sand is good for beach weddings}

7.  Congratulations!  You are married!

8.  Kiss

9.  Final Remarks

10.  Walk up the aisle in the Procession!

See, piece of cake, right?  Speaking of cake, we will talk about that during another post and give you some great referrals, but for now, we hope we eased your fears a little.

Make sure to contact us soon if you are interested in a beach ceremony.  You can visit our website, send us an email or give us a call at 901.340.9192 or 440.242.7452

Until next post,

Happy Wedding Planning!
